Kolkata-based Sattik Packaging has signed a deal to buy Megafold 2400 folder-gluer with stacker from DGM India. This volition be the 2d folder-gluer that Sattik has bought from the DGM portfolio. At present, Sattik Packaging makes 3-ply and 5-ply boxes.

"We had bought a Megafold 1650 folder-gluer from DGM about one-and-a-half years ago direct from DGM, before DGM India was established. We are very satisfied with the machine and therefore nosotros take opted for the Megafold 2400 now," says Sanjay Saha, director, Sattik Packaging.

In the converting department, the company also has a Bobst Novacut 106 die-cutter and a Bobst Visionfold folder-gluer. Saha shares that the company has also placed an order for a 7-colour UV coater press from KBA as it wants to venture into manufacturing mono cartons.
